Useful questions come first

Research, not borrowed certainty

We compare manufacturer materials, product manuals, retailer listings, support pages, and reputable educational sources. We note uncertainty and never invent specifications, ratings, prices, availability, or performance.

Recommendations use relevant criteria

Depending on the guide, we evaluate camera output, trigger behavior, power, Wi‑Fi, storage, subscriptions, feeder capacity, mounts, cleaning, weather language, and total ownership considerations. We verify affiliate destinations independently of editorial selection.

Hands-on testing is labeled

If we personally test a product, the article explains what was tested and how. Otherwise, coverage is identified as research-based.
