Verify each row separately. A free app may still have paid history or recognition, while a no-fee camera may still require an account, internet service, and the provider's servers.
Use current documentation as an example, not a shortcut
Birdfy currently documents a Free membership level with defined cloud, Collection, and AI limits. Perky-Pet currently says no subscription is required to use its smart camera feeder app. Birdbuddy documents cloud-dependent operation with no local storage for its feeders. Separate cancellation from storage and export
Before subscribing, learn what happens to new clips, previously saved clips, downloads, identification, shared access, and account data when a trial or plan ends. Download footage you value before changing a service. A memory-card slot is not enough evidence that recording continues without internet, that the app can play card files remotely, or that the card is included.
Compare the complete ownership cost without freezing a price
Record the current plan shown in the provider account, billing interval, trial end, taxes or app-store differences, supported memory card, and any required mount or power accessory. Prices and tiers can change, so this guide does not publish a static plan price. Choose only after the permanently included functions match your routine without relying on an expiring promotion.
